The iced berry pops were called lemonade pops from the appliance Tart Fountain but not sure about the other one

I'm actually okay with the 2nd and 3rd recipes, as like I assumed, those appliances are locked for me so I don't have them on RS so I'm happy to get them in my Bakery. However, Storm8 if your going to give us repeated ovens and recipes at least start unlocking the locked goals because PLENTY of people have asked for it and I'm sure they'd be happier with that than with what we've been getting these last two goals. I am disappointed we didn't get new ovens and brand new non recycled recipes. I REALLY hope the holiday goals that we should be getting in the next few months make up for this.

Also, not excited about 2 more appliances, which look exactly the same (except the recipes) as the ones I already have in RS. Instead of of cross-recycling unmatched content in both games, why not simply re-release OLD BAKERY STORY GOALS AND APPLIANCES for newer users and offer brand new goals for everyone at least once a month? And since we are still in summer, why not offer sale on old summer and beach related decor? These are just IMAGES that you, Storm8, could sell to us to keep us interested, not bored.

I'm having a weird situation. The 2 hour video speed up won't show up on the new oven but will on the regular oven. So basically, im unable to use my videos on the new oven. I've never encountered that before.

I am very disappointed with the past few goals! These ovens are not something that I want to display in my bakery and the food it makes is not cute at all. I want to see more pastels and hearts. I would love to have the chance to unlock some of the older goal ovens and prizes. I go to visit other neighbors and I see all the cute ovens and the food it makes and I get so mad because I can't have those items! I spend a large amount of money on this game monthly and now I'm just getting bored...The older things were so much cuter and actual bakery related. I have been wanting the Alice in wonderland ovens and the Quaint ovens for so long and would probably pay a good bit for them but they are locked! I really wish they would bring these appliances back for a limited time. Over half of my neighbors aren't even participating in these goals anymore and it's just not fun to play.

Something I wouldn't have to hide behind something in my bakery. I'm with a lot of others on unlocking goal appliances for a little while, they were so much cuter and baked cute food.

Some players may think that it's not "summer" appropriate, but that's not necessarily true... We're only limited by our creativity. As cliche as that sounds, it's true. How about creating a summer rock party or beach music festival? There's actually quite a lot of beach decor available if players are willing to pay gems for it. Sorry not everyone likes that answer, but that's the way it is. I personally think it's worth spending gems for something I really want. Even if the goal prizes don't suit my bakery theme at the moment, I just put them in storage for a later theme. More so, I happen to change themes every month so I like diversity in goals & not knowing what I'm going to get. I think people have to remember that everyone has a different playing style & bakery theme. Yes, that's right... Not everyone likes a cookie cutter "bakery" although there's nothing wrong with one. I also think that people need to remember that not everyone plays restaurant story too so a lot of these "repeated" prizes are actually new to many of us. As some people have already stated, no one is forcing this goal on anyone so maybe players can save their resources for something that actually suits their fancy... Just my 2 cents.

Still thinking if I should do the goal... would have preferred re-release of the jazz goal (a few years back) since the displays can quite easily be used in other themes...

It also depends on your bakery size - even with items from boxes (opened the summer boxes for around 20 times) and every summer/ ice cream displays available (plus items from the gelato and beach goals) I struggled to fill my bakery completely with summer/ beach items. Don't have that problem with spring/ fall/ winter. So more summer/ beach/ ice cream items/ goals will be great.

True, more beach decor is always appreciated and filling a large bakery is quite difficult :p I happen to keep a small one but some of my neighbors with really large bakeries have some awesome themed sections so it's doable but more expensive I guess... Either way, I'm thankful for this new goal and I know a lot of people have been asking for the Jazzband so this is a good consolation I think. Good luck if u decide to complete it!

I honestly don't know how I feel about all these recent recycled items. I'd rather they come up with something new. I play both, been playing for a long time and have most of the stuff and... seriously, why would I like to have the SAME stuff in both games? Where's the fun if I can "decorate" them the same way and even cook the same food? I think this completely looses the purpose of playing both games, specially given how ridiculously steep BS is as opposed to RS.

I have also had the same issue. I can watch the video but it won't process. I cleared the cache and tried again. Didn't help so I rebooted my phone. Didn't help either so I uninstalled app. That fixed it. You might want to try doing this. It can be very frustrating!

I took a break and would love for the old goals to be re-released. But I'm also happy with this update, its new to my bakery (I play RS too) and even though I have duplicate items in both, I decorate them differently so I'm good with whatever gets put out.

But the best thing ever would be to find a way to unlock old goals so we can work on them in between updates.

I've been relatively okay with the repeated goals (though not thrilled), cause (a) not everyone plays RS, so it's good for them; (b) some of the RS decor i really like, so think it's nice to get it in bakery too, (c) opportunities to collect gems are always welcome as i'm broke and really miss the downloading other games for gems android goals.

but as time passes, the more this feels like a chore instead of a game, with nothing new to interest me, and not enough time to do the goals comfortably. i want the excitement back!

anyway, like last time, i'll get as far as i get. and if i don't finish, well then i already had a different jazz band here, and i can go to RS if i want to see this jazz band.

Maracas are balloon shaped, but they shouldn't look like hot air balloons, LOL. You can also tell in the way they are served that these were hot air balloon pops.

Yeah, they could've tried a little harder to give off the illusion that they're maracas but they didn't even bother getting rid of the clouds lol. Much happier with the recipes on the second oven at least :) (that is aside from the treble cookies which have been copied yet again for some reason).

I don't play RS, so these goal is completely new for me. So far I like it a lot. The recipes on first oven are quite nice. Colorful, fruity, so quite summery (2nd oven recipes are meh though). I won't use the new decors immediately, but I can see them being useful when I redecorate my bakery for other themes.

This is possibly an unpopular opinion, but if S8 don't have manpower to design new items/goals, having goals with recycled RS items/recipes is better than having no goal at all :)

Sad to infinity.lol I knew I wasn't crazy when I thought those cookies had already been re-done by BS, which were copied from RS. So the recipe has been copied TWICE in the same game (BS) and copied ONCE by another game. And to add insult to injury, the servings and profits are pitiful! :eek:

I don't play RS either so the items are new to me. I basically use the forums to see what I'll need to gather for appliances, cost of items, and what the displays or prizes will be. Some I like and others I don't, but many different people play and we all like and dislike different things. I have played approximately 5 years. It is really discouraging to see so many negative comments. I don't see that negativity in general among the neighbors I have and have had. The thing I hear about most is the increase in the cost of items. Perhaps I am just not as invested as some people are, but I would like to see more positive or neutral comments and less harshness.

I completely agree about the negative comments. And I myself have been on the more negative side with my comments as well but I think it's because I play both BS and RS so seeing the same old stuff is disappointing and a big let down. If I didn't play RS and hadn't seen this stuff before I'd be just as happy as those who don't play RS too. This side quest for the stairs is nice though, I'm definitely liking it.

So on one of my bakeries, I only served 3 of the musical cupcakes and it unlocked the second recipe and side goal. I'm not complaining, it was a nice glitch but between this and the video speed up issue, there's definitely some strange disconnect between iPad and iPhone apps.

I'm actually expecting that coming regarding the theme of the goal and the re-use trend lately. What I'm not expecting is that they actually use the EXACT same art for different recipes (the Treble Cookies is exactly the same as the Roller Cookies)

Honestly, I'd be happy if was just a slight change in color (like the recipes in the oven with the jalapeno on it) or with a but extra topping/garnish on it (like the oven we currently have on RS).

If you're going to re-use stuff, then at least please double check that if the content is already re-used or not, S8

Very disappointing update and goal! When my bakery is summer/beach theme decorated at the moment, the last thing I want to add is music related decor. Also, not excited about 2 more appliances, which look exactly the same (except the recipes) as the ones I already have in RS. Instead of of cross-recycling unmatched content in both games, why not simply re-release OLD BAKERY STORY GOALS AND APPLIANCES for newer users and offer brand new goals for everyone at least once a month? And since we are still in summer, why not offer sale on old summer and beach related decor? These are just IMAGES that you, Storm8, could sell to us to keep us interested, not bored.

I was disappointed that all the content of this goal was all recycled from RS, more so the appliances and recipes than the prizes. The ovens did require alot of parts. The goal duration and recipe times were fine with me, although 5 hour recipes to start out is kind of alot. The side goal I really liked. I liked that the recipes we had to make were on the basic oven and drink mixer and I didn't think the amount required was too much.

The poll is hard to answer. I like the wooden steps, they're very well done, but I have no use for them and am starting to wonder if they're a preview for nothing. I LOVE the Jazz Band with giddy enthusiasm, but the rest of the stuff was pretty blah.

I would've enjoyed the steps side goal, but coming in the middle of a regular one was a lot to do in a short time.

Goal length, as always, okay for me but impossible for newbies. For us to keep playing, the game has to stay in business and it won't if newbies give up, which they will because these goals are impossible for them.

I have no problems with the main goal. I don't mind the swapping from RS, because it means I have the Jazz Band here in BS which is great as I don't have it in RS. The recipes from the first appliance are a bit odd for a music theme but they're cute so, I do like the prizes and the recipes. They're new appliances for BS anyway, so it's great. I do think the rock star is a tad tiny though.

I like the side goal and the prize as well, and the fact that it uses the basic oven and drink mixer is awesome. Could we have this for re-releasing locked decor as well? It'll make the game more fun when there aren't any main goals. Just call them mini goals. Please?

But back to the side goal.

1) The timing on when it appears in the main goal progress is a bit too much. Too much as in, it was only released the moment the player reaches the second recipe on the second appliance. What about players who want to take their time playing the game because, I don't know, it's a game? What if the moment they reached the second recipe on the second appliance with only 4 days to go? What about work, school, sleep, life?

2) The countdown timer for the side goal should not be the same as the main goal. If we can choose not to participate, why have the countdown together with it then? The countdown should start the moment the player access that goal. Why not have it at the end of the main goal as a bonus prize?

This is where I agree with some of the other players to have a longer goal duration if S8 is going to combine main goal and side goal together. Sure, it amps up the playing thrill when you launch it between the main goal steps but the goal duration should be longer just to accommodate that.

Anyway, thank you S8 for the new recipes and prizes! :>

I enjoyed these goals except for the goal duration. It was really tight to complete both the Main Goals and the Side Goals together. I much prefer the Side Goals start upon the completion of Main Goals, 15 days each.
