There is too much random chance at receiving rewards you have to have to advance in the game. Right now I'm stuck on several of these resources. Wood planks should not be one of them. There is a forge for screws and nails, so why not a saw mill for planks? Also the beehive gives two resources, why can't trees do the same and give planks? It makes no sense to cut down a tree if you don't plan on making lumber out of it. Figure it out storm8
