Just so you know, I checked my game and you still should be able to collect them. Just collect from them as if the flower were not there.

It's likely hiding behind something if you had already placed it. If you accidentally hit sell you always get the confirmation button, so it's not that. You could wait until the next collection timer...
I started the butter free county fair. And the little flower graphics above the banana trees r preventing me from collecting from them. There are also white flower graphics above my dairy buldigs
