Do the entourage count as a family member or are they just additional
to the 5x level? |

Neither.
Entourage is a type of "protection" (2nd equipment tab). It's like a Reinforced Kevlar Vest, but the entourage items have a higher casualty rate. |

Bombs have a high casualty rate. Entourage has a low casualty rate. Everything else has zero casualty rate.

Not sure about the casualty rate on the other new items but I can vouch for dynamite having a high casualty rate. Think B2's and you'll be on the right track. Bought a full complement of dynamite and hired thugs. In 5 fights, won 4 and lost 1, I lost 5 sticks and 1 hired thug.
Unless they up the amount people lose when losing a fight, lower the cost or reduce the casualty rate on them both are going be very expensive to use. |

Yeah I thought Entourage was treated as just like a defensive unit... like a bunker in world war or something... no?

If you buy it, each one you buy becomes your "1 protection item per mob member" IF it's better than all of your other protection items. Note: "protection" items are the old "armor" items ... same tab in equipment, just a new name. |
