Difficulty getting looted parts.

I'm sure this has been discussed, but I will bring it up again. The xenon HID Headlamps are so frustrating to loot. I've been working on them for about 4 months now. (About 30-40 times a day) I now have 546. My ratio is about 4%-6%. Anyone have any better luck than myself? I'm at level 232 so I need 1160. I've got the full looted parts of custom tuned gearbox, illegal engine mods, and the dual quad intake manifod (those sucked as well-but about 10% for those). It seems the ratio has gone done in the last couple of months, any other comments?

6 month later update..
STILL working on those stupid xenon HID Headlamps. I now have 1060, droprate still around 4%-6% don't let anyone tell you anything else. That's all I've done for the last six months except each level get 5 more of the other looted parts. Level 246 so I still have a couple hundred to get...

That sounds about right, it's the hardest looted part to get. I'm only level 152 now and caught up with the illegal engine mods only, now working on the Jet Chips command and get about 6-7 a day. Next is the Custom Tuned Gear box followed by the Dual Quad Intake... saving the HID for the last part to loot. Not looking forward to it at all.

I have often wondered if there is an unknown variable that affects drop rate. Maybe your level? Other...????

I think my experience with the HID is a little better than that, but it is hit and miss. I have not kept a specific record of my results but it seems like I usually get one in not more than 12 trys, but sometimes it is more. Sometimes it is less.

I just tried a few minutes ago and got 4 in 6 attempts.

Final update on the xenon headlights, today I finally got the last one to get maxed ( level 249) it took 28 times to get the last one! Now to the jet chips, I hope they are easier!

Jet chip better drop rate,but not by much....I started on level 215, been doing that job almost exclusively for 10 levels now. I have only 578, which works out to a 12% drop rate. I'm definitely not looking forward to the xenons

I'm on level 23 and just got the xenon headlamps in the NYC Brooklyn Bridge chase

2 month update working on the jet chips. Started with zero now at 176, which averages to only 3 a day😠 I'm level 251 with max crew so it's going to be awhile....

Well for me,it's the Freaking "Illegal Engine Mod",I always wanted One to get me better,and Rumours are that I could get then by doing this Event Named "Race On Hollywood" some some Stuff like that in L.A. But than I just can't get it,I kept attempting the Damn Job and got Nothing!

5 month update-468 jet chips, so in 3 months I have only gotten 292 which is less than 3 a day I am only doing the jet chips except when I level then I get 5 more of all the other looted parts. So this is going to take more than a year to max out on them all. Wow that really sucks.......BTW I'm now at level 255-unbelievable how difficult it is to level now a days...

Still ticks me off when I get raced by someone that has 1500-2000 luxury car showrooms. Too bad there are so many hackers (cheaters) in this game...
