The most units a level 300 with max allies can use is 9,000. So there is your answer.

You don't use all of the units that you have in battle.
It depends on how much allies you have, to know how many units you use for battle.

The formula to know how much units you will use, is A*6
A = Amount of allies.

However, you cant just get thousands of allies and use them all. There is a limit to that also.

The formula to know how much allies you can use in battle, is L*5
L = Your current Level/Rank.

Also, you will automatically use your best units in battle. So if you have a unit with better defense then the medic, then you will use that unit.

So i will guess that you have 32 allies. 32 * 6 (A*6) = 192. So you may bring 192 units to battle. So if you have 4 of Unit X, (Which is your best defense unit) Then you will use those 4, so now you could bring another 188 units to battle (192-4=188) And the medic, is your next best unit, which you have 10,000 of, will only use 188 of.

mushroomman is spot on. remember, your allies use YOUR units (whether you are attacking or defending), so always make sure that you have enough units to equip your allies (and if you can, it's advisable to make sure you have the best units for attacking and defending, although this will obviously be determined by whether you can afford the upkeep for them all). so by adding just one ally, you need 6 more units. don't just go stupid and buy 1,000s of units just because you can afford them.

i am level 21 and have 14 allies. at this level, my best defense unit is the Heavy Equipment Transporter (35 defense points) and best attack unit is the B-1 Lancer (50 attack points), so i have 84 of each (14*6), costing me 176,400 and 302,400 upkeep respectively, leaving my net income at 48½ mil. of course, if someone else with 14 allies attacks me with their 84 B-1 Lancers, that gives them 4,200 attack points (50*84). my 84 Heavy Equipment Transporters only give me 2,940 defense points (35*84), which is where my defense buildings come in to play, so i need to make sure they make up for the rest of the defense needed to win the battle.

Well with 21 allies you are at the lower middle of your bracket. You should either have 19 or 24 allies to be at the top of your bracket.

Right. I am level 33 with 165 allies, (Max, Because 33*5=165) and i have 1,000 Aircraft Carriers, and i use 990 of them (Max, Because 165*6=990) So i have 10 left over, just in case of casualties.

...and if you had read it properly, you would have seen that I said I have 14 allies, and that makes me at the top of my ally bracket. I am level 21.
