I know what you mean about the black hybrids being hard. I tried for a month to get ANY black hybrid and just got Bat, then last week I got Troll for only my second black hybrid ever, months and months after the first. There's something wrong with breeding black dragons, for sure.

I tried moon when he came back with only a spell scroll -_- and he lost also. Blah. I guess big bad is my crusader from the last tournament. Thank you for that list! I have all of those so I shall try! Boo is my personal favorite for some reason..lol
Black hybrids are horrible to breed. When the pinks came out...I focused on those right away and got all of them, including unicorn before color spilling happened. I remember origami, bubble and kite I actually all got on first try's but the black hybrids.....oy. Took me forever to get deep and moon was a first try luck. I tried for hunter/troll bunches of times with only island after island after island after coral after island lol so I gave up. I even tried for DA, wasted 315 gold and 70 fails with only countless wizards and aethers and corals. I shall get it when I get it lol

I have used no gold, and don't have any diamonds, mythic, Dino, etc.

I definitely recommend using the "Baby Brigade" Technique if an opponent has taken out 3-4 of your good dragons. I was about to use it on Stainglass but Air came thru for me.
