Feedback Latest update on Vamps

Get rid of the annoying little blue icon Storm8 added to vamps with the last update. It serves no necessary purpose other than to annoy. Storm8 already advertises every game under the sun in that other stupid box. Why did you need to add another?

Ever since I did the new vampires live update in AppStore. I get to delete it everyday and dl it again. Because it crashes everytime I open the app. Black screen crash.

Ever since I did the update my vampires live crashes shows a black screen then I am kicked off why is this happening and is it going to be fixed soon I have too keep uninstalling it and reinstalling it over and over please fix this

Hi, in addition to the new button being an annoyance, it has caused me a lot of extra trouble. The below is an email I sent to support@storm8 and I'm hoping this will seriously be looked into.

Hello. This is in regards to the latest iOS update to the Vampires app.

First off, I am blind and so rely on Apple's screen reader called Voice Over so that I can use the iPhone 4S for every-day things. Playing Storm8 games is no different. To activate Voice Over, press the Home button 3 times quickly. Or go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Voice Over, and turn it on from there. If you need additional information about this, I am happy to help. Basically when Voice Over is used, tapping once on the screen makes Voice Over speak what the item is rather than actually activating it. Also, if you swipe left or swipe right, the selection moves backward or forwards. In terms of the S8 games, if I tap the upper-left corner of the screen Voice Over speaks my income, if I swipe right, I'm taken to the level, then to the exp, and then to my energy, ETC. After something speaks, if it's clickable, I can double-tap and that item will be activated. For example, if I'm on the attack screen, I tap the middle of the screen and when I find a person's name, I double-tap their name and their profile is brought up so I can check out what they have and determine if I want to attack them or not. OK, so that is a very basic usage description of Voice Over.

There are some quirks with all s* games, but that's something which I already wrote to you guys and those things although still not having been fixed, they don't make the game less usable. However this latest to the Vampires app specifically added something new which really hinders my usage of the game, almost to the point that it's no longer as fun to play.

When I go to add slaves, I normally run my finger down the left side of the screen until I hear the slave I want to add and then I swipe right to reach the Enslave button. Or, for example, if I want to enslave a Police Man, I arrow down to one past, the Hunter, and then swipe left so that i can quickly reach the Enslave button for the Police Man. Remember that left swiping takes me backwards, almost like a left arrow on a PC. If I want to enslave a Vampire, I tap the bottom left of the screen where it says Home, and then I swipe left and then the screen is scrolled down to Vampire line and I can quickly reach the Enslave button. This has been working fine until this latest update. Now this latest update has an unlabeled button, I'm not sure where it is visually. However when I tap Home, and then swipe left, instead of Voice Over moving the selection to the Vampire line, it speaks this button as 99 Button, and then more swipes to the left put me at the top of the screen, which is not where I want to be. So, not if I want to add slaves which are furthest down the list, such as Vampires, Demons, ETC, I have to scroll down and using Voice Over this isn't as convenient because many of the Enslave buttons are more easily reached if I left/right swipe. Remember that when using Voice Over, touching the screen once on something doesn't activate it, it just speaks it. If I want to activate it, I double-tap. This is why I can safely touch the bottom left where it shows the Home button, and then swipe left to be taken to the bottom of the Slaves list, where the Vampire is.

This same 99 Button is appearing in other places, like when I look at someone's profile, from example from the Attack screen. I go to the attack screen, I choose a name and double-tap the person's name to bring up their profile. Now let's say I want to see what slaves they have. Since they are listed at the very end of their profile, I do similar to the slaves screen. I tap the Home button on the bottom left of the screen, then I swipe left and voile, I'm now at the bottom of their profile where it shows me the last, most expensive slave they have. However now that this 99Button is there, I can't do that because it puts focus somewhere else. I finally got curious enough and double-tapped this 99Button and it looks like ads for other S8 games to download. I already get those when I'm on the home screen of the specific game, so I'm not sure why it was added specifically to Vampires.

This has added extra steps from what I normally do when playing the game. None of the other S8 games, iMobsters, Kingdoms, World-War, do this.

I hope that what I say makes sense, and also you will need to have Voice Over enabled in order for you to reproduce what I'm describing. If you can't reproduce it, then maybe you can consider removing this button altogether since it's interfering.

Sense the update I have to delete it from my phone then redown load it in order to get onto game 😡 I have to do this a couple times a day so damn annoying leave it to them to screw thing up again and not fix anything heck you delete messages and they stay on ur dang wall for every geez can't we just get something fixed right on these game that we spend money on and all them damn adds get be gone with it all ready just fix what's broken fix these dang bugs and the message board that u can't delete n the bc board.

Vampires has been down for 7 days now and for those of us that play this game every day 7 days feels like a lifetime.

Cmon S8 pull ur finger out, you broke it so hurry up and fix it..

Please remove the annoying blue tab in the upper right corner. It constantly shows a number 2 in it that doesn't go away.

There has been a new update to Vampires Live since this issue, does anyone still have the log in crash error after downloading the latest update?
