For the past few days I've been patiently trying to obtain the Ruby Manticore. Here are my results

Diamond Pegasus (Luster-lvl8) & FireFox (Char-Epic)

Then I just switched the order to
FireFox (Char-Epic) & Diamond Pegasus (Luster-lvl8)

3. Ruby Manticore 44h

I got the same experience with you, just get my ruby after 12th try and finally get it. Now I have complete all monsters and waiting for the new update.

it also took me forever... at first i did diamond (10) + firefox (8) and tried like... 50 times but then i just switched the combo and got it after 3 tries

It could take a while, but some people are fortunate to get it within a few tries. You will get it. Keep trying... look at the bright side... at least your failed breeds are only 4 hours. Good luck!

From experience, I advice you to stick with Firefox. When I tried a fire hybrid, diamond acts like an invisible element and I get the same hybrid I used or another with the same colour combo!

You'll get it soon, just keep at it.
TL gonna be so sick of you trying that they'll give you one!!

OMG have tryed diamond l6 and epic Firefox 55 times and still no ruby, gotten so bored that I've given up. Gonna try 4 sea slime the only non diamond monster I don't have while I evolve diamond.

This one was the hardest for me to get, as well. It took over a month of straight attempts.
