Cows only producing coins and stars?!

I've been trying to get cow "skin" and ribs all day today... I've fed them (4 of them) over 20 times today and they've only produced stars and coins. Do I need to sell them and raise new ones again? Or is this normal? Thanks!

It is normal to go through a bad patch like that....hopefully your luck will change soon!

Thanks for responding! Maybe tomorrow (it's 10:30pm) will be a better day for the cows

If you are maxed out on milk try and use some up. I find once I start using the milk the hides come rolling in!

Do you have two stables? They can drop hides from time to time as well
