If you're finished the goals for the Elven Outpost with Nadina and just doing normal daily trades there are gnomish items that you cannot craft. These items can be found from the gnome adventure and there are a couple of items that drop firefly cages.
This has always been the case and won't be changed in the foreseeable future.
For trades with items you cannot craft, you just have to let the time expire and wait for the next one. Hope that helps.
