I had a Scarab drop as well. Perhaps it's not a glitch.
If the doubles event is a new feature, this may be related to that - or this extra dragon two people so far have reported.

It is my theory that because OVERGROWTH is an exceptional dragon for breeding w/ LOVE to obtain a DIAMOND, Storm8 wanted to make it just as difficult to Craft. My math says it would take 25 full 24 hour days of evolving dragons to obtain the bombs necessary IF you hit @ least twice each attempt & IF all dragons being evolved have an incubation length evenly divisible by 4. So if you had an evolve time of 19 hours you wasted 3 hours... Will Storm8 leave OVERGROWTH in the Mine for a month? It might be possible to obtain one then... :/
They usually are at least a month.
It's a lot of pieces. We shall see how it shakes out.
