I am shocked an a little annoyed about the problems with my game not letting me do anything because I don't have enough coins.
It is actually my fault that I have too many coins apparently! I should spend some on habiats or decor, the only problem with that is that now I only buy premium habitats for gold and I have so many items of decor in storage it is not even funny. My current level is 190 and I only have about 2.2 billion coins and I am sure that there are many players who have more coin in their tally than mine.
WHat am I to do? Close my mine and stop being able to mine for food, stop spinning the wheel as it contains coin, stop collecting experience points as it also involves collecting coin from habitats or as Support has suggested to me I get them to remove coins from my tally?

It should be simple enough for S8 to adjust your coin balance through the backend, with your written agreement. Yes, this is a workaround until they fix the underlying issue. Clearly saying it is your fault for having too many coins is an unacceptable response - the system should cope and if the backend has a limitation, there should be a resolution procedure in place. Ultimately every long term player will have the same problem.

How to submit Support Request
In case this helps anyone, this isn't an issue with the game so much as you've played so hard that you've exceeded the limitations of computer language (impressive!). The max positive integer for 32bit computer language is 2147483647. In any game, if you exceed this number, an error will happen that can manifest itself in different ways. In our games, it displays as a negative number, but your server amount is still positive and all of the Coins you earn are still added properly to your server total. The weird display you see is only a display.
This is rare and can only happen if you're a long-time, high-level player who collects Coins and rarely spends them. You'll need to contact Support for help with your account.
