Following Ms. Parasol's reappearance, and based on her recounting of events, the Conductor does an investigation of the trolleys. His findings indicate that some treats are indeed missing, and demands the Jock to empty out his pockets. The Jock grumbles, but can't hide the empty wrappers that come spilling out! He and the Ice Skating Girl are escorted off the premises on charges of petty theft.

However, that's not all the investigation reveals! Looking further, the Conductor discovers that the trolleys are actually hollow! And one of them has a gag and rope inside!

The game is up: the kidnappers of the Playful Parasol were not the Jock and Ice Skating Girl, but the Trolley Twins! They had money riding on the Mexican Dancer to win, and needed the frontrunner out of the way. Trolley carting doesn't exactly pay too well, after all, and no one would have guessed that Ms. Parasol would still be in the establishment! And they would've gotten away with it too, if it weren't for those meddling kids!

Both are carted off (no pun intended) for questioning on charges of kidnapping.

Onto the good news: Ms. Parasol approaches Lee and mentions that, while she also thought her date could have gone better (she was allergic to the flowers in the potted plant), she really liked Lee's cooking. It's why she was a regular at his restaurant.

She agrees to go on another date with him, and so, Phoebe declares her the winner! (Not that there was anyone left to contest the title, but all the same ). MS. PARASOL IS DECLARED THE WINNER OF THE DATING GAME!!


Hearts fall from the sky and all couples get on the stage to celebrate their newfound loves:




And they all lived happily ever after.
