boosted breeded for free

Hello.This morning,I gave bought the breeding roost and the diamond temple cause I've seen the boosted breeding was for free when I've opened the game . I'd like to know if it's normal it costs gems to speed up the breeding cause I had to spent 79 gems in less an hour to speed up the breeding?Who could explain me how the breeding roost works please?Sorry for my english but I'm french. Thanks.

The Breeding roost is a 2nd Breeding den that you can purchase to be able to breed another set of dragons. ( for a limited time)

The boosted breeding means that when place your two dragons to breed, you can hit the top button for coins (for now- usually it costs gems) and this is suppose to give you a better chance of getting
rare and super rare dragons.

Whenever you speed up breeding, it will not be free, it will always cost gems.
