That is so weird.... I had the same goal "reach level 8 in RS2" for the past 2 weeks. I'm guessing the weekly goals are different to players..

Reaching the next level goals are given once you complete download. If you have already completed it for that game you won't get it. Once you complete level 8 you will get another level to complete right away. They are given on your progression. The only Friday ones are for new downloads, not levels.

I think it means you get 4 gems per recipe, so 1 gem per level

Get 2 gems at Bar 2. Will get another 2 gems at Bar 4.
For each recipe in colonial oven will get 4 gems. For all 3 recipes in colonial oven will get 12 gems

I also bought the Colonial Oven and I will keep an eye on when the levels change for each recipe. So far the Corn Muffins turned level 1 and didn't give me a gem. I'll make sure to look to see if I get 2 gems at level 2.

You get gems at level 2 and 4 and coins at level 1 and 3.
