Items gone after design change?

I decided to move around some of my displays in order to make room for more I planned to buy, but when I left design mode, all of my clothes that were on the racks were gone! Are they somewhere else, such as in storage, or are they gone for good? The help/faq section provided no warning that this might happen. Where did all my fashions go?

If you stored the racks/counters, then the clothes are gone forever. When I just started out playing, I ran into the same problem. I wish there was a warning letting players know that storing a rack deletes the clothes forever. Sorry it happened to you!
