Andriod updates help

Do i have to download the updates myself? Also if for example i delete summer fun,fast food or tropical bliss do i lose the ability to buy the items in these updates. Thanks. Edit-Android..On PS4 so spelt title wrong

If the update is tied-in with a new version like the fast food/burger items on RS Fast Food or hawaiian stuff on RS Tropical Bliss, then yes you have to download the new version at the Play Store yourself to get the update. If it's not, the latest version available will receive it automatically, you don't have to do anything.

No, once you have installed and opened your game using those versions you don't lose the ability to purchase stuff further even if you delete them. Those tied-in stuff are already integrated in your game data so you should still be able to buy them on future versions unless of course TL decides to retire those items.
