Expansion sequence

Where should one start to expand on a cost effective basis. I started on the lower level but cannot afford to knock down the trees or rocks

It's how it is. Everyone that is ans was on a low level disn't had enough coins to expand and them clear foliage.

We need to pay to expand BUT we need also to pay to clear foliage in order to have a new spot free.
In the mining expansions we don't need to clear foliage after expanding.

Yes I understand that foliage has to be cleared, but are certain areas more cost effectively cleared than others?

Nog realy, it's just always expensive, and the more advanced you get, the more expensive it'll get.

We had a chart in the game guide, but I am pretty sure, those prices have changed the expansion thread is also older, but might help you to avoid the high cost items (to move)
