Need help with xp

How do you get loads of xp on this game? The tasks are quite long in terms of you needing dragons that cost gold and im not good at combos wih breeding. Any help would be appreciated.

Short time crops give more xp per hour than long time crops on a per hour basis.
When neighbors visit, you get xp for every habitat they visit.
Visit your neighbors, sometimes you get xp just for visiting.

In general, if you feed and level up your dragons, you will earn more coins. Use those coins to grow food to level up more dragons, buy habitats (earns xp) to put your newly bred dragons into. Clear new land and expand as much as possible. Collect frequently from your habitats as they have coin limits. Keep duplicate dragons until you need the space in your habitats.
