Questions about Black Friday

I've been playing since February and I wanted to know what happens on Black Friday. Will there be sales for higher priced items? Will boxes and gems be discounted? From the other thread, I know that there will be past decor but having that being said, I'm wondering if purchacing gems will be worth it. also, will there be a Wednesday update?

if the previous year's pattern continues, gems will be sold for a 40% discount, and items that are not normally available - expired LTOs and box items - will be available for gems. i mostly noticed the box items for individual sale being 1st place prizes last year, but i may have been focused on that. boxes themselves weren't discounted (but who needs it when you can just buy the top prize?)

don't remember if there was an update the week of BF. i think not.
