No daily gift

I have played zoo story 2 every day since I installed it but I have only seen the daily gift screen a few times. Each time I see it I only get the day 1 gift. How can I recieve the daily gift every day?

Do you mean the daily bonus? When you login, it's already applied and the screen notifies you that you received it. You don't have to "collect" it. If you don't see it, but are logging in after each day resets, you'll still receive it. The message may not display if there was a connection issue logging in.
