cant purchase gems

I cant seem to purchase gems, its just a blank screen. I tried closing and reinstalling my app but it doesnt seem to work either

If you play on an apple device, check under settings-general -software update. Make sure you have most current iOS version offered for your device.

now the problem has been resolved but is there a limit to how much gems i can purchase a day? because I cant seem to purchase anymore gems despite the fact that my card is working normally. It says my purchase could not be completed.
