Eggs are mainly got from hatching, growing food and quests.

You are on target to get about 700 for the event so you will still be able to get something.

You don't need the enchanted farms (it's unlikely you will be able to afford the expensive food anyway) but the more large farms you have, the more eggs you will get. Plan your planting of food around the schedule you can play the game so you are always growing and harvesting. You get 1 egg per hour worth of food you plant.

You should be able to do 3 or 4 quests a day (the one with the forest dragon)

If you have an empty nest and your breeding den is not ready, you can fill in the empty time with buying eggs - air (2 hours) and water (12 hours) are your cheapest options and you sell them straight off the nest to collect easter eggs.

I don't see as many of my neighbors fully playing in this event as before. Maybe planning it around the Easter weekend was not a great idea.

It's supposed to be a community event, but not really sure if everyone knows or if they just don't care so much. Makes me sad, as I have limited time, but still doing everything I can, not only for me but for everyone to win the community prizes.
