Alicorn parts only drop from adventures. And not the new ones. So just Dark Caves, Roaming Bandits & Desert Sands will drop the parts. It's very rare though. I waited months on end for the wing on the last alicorn I crafted and just finally went ahead and bought the wing with gems to get it done. The parts are ultra rare, thus very, very hard to get.

I believe someone here on thread waited over a year for one part & just got it recently.

Red trillium drops red petals every collection. Fairie flowerbush & Multicolor hedge drops red petals sometimes.

Old logs drop red petals sometimes, too. And they don't cost gems. Also, I like that old logs always give you 2 items per drop. 1 of them is wood; the other is any petal color or mushrooms of glimmerdust. It's a 2-for-1 deal every time. And becomes a 3-for-1 if you have a fortune teller booth and the glimmer fortune active!

You mean gems, right? Play the promoted games in your quest book (whenever they show up). Many chances to accumulate gems there.

I had 3 wings forever & just got the horn from the dark cave adventure. This was the longest and hardest part so far. Waited 5 months to get, refused to spend gems.
