Can't seem to figure out what the coins are for????

I have over a million, but all the boosts take bars, so what good are they?

The coins can be used to buy certain boosts at the pre-game start screen. Usually only 1 or 2 boosts have a "coins" price tag (and they get more & more pricey as the levels increase.) Once you're in the game, though, you need gold for all boosts... This question has been asked several times throughout the forum...including in the Jewel Mania - Basics thread (a "sticky", pg. 1 of the forum,) and this "Coins" thread.

I quickly found these and others using the search function (top of any page.) I just used coins & jewel mania as key words. When I got the results, I only clicked on those from the Jewel Mania | Discussion part of the forum. (Btw, if your search leads to long, multi-page threads, you can search faster using the "search thread" drop down at the top of the page...)
