I also want to comment on the tactic of switching off the phone before trying again. It sounded like something that was very unlikely to help, but I thought "What could it hurt?", and I tried it three times after dragons that were giving me a really hard time (Infinity, Crusader, and Kaleido). I don't know if it was coincidence or what, but I won against Infinity two tries after, I won against Crusader on the next try after, and I won against Kaleido on either the next try or the second try after (I don't remember; I had a busy day). Maybe there's something to it??

Woot!! 8th try is the charm!! Put my newly healed lvl 9 Yin Yang against Kaleido and took him out with MBM...realllly close, made me nervous. Egg is in nest and I'm sleeping well tonight

Yes should try when luck is bad. I notice that sometimes after winning if the game rolls back we lose to the same dragon we won before. So the TL computers generate all sorts of random combinations and trends I think.

I would personally go with DA first...Diamond really is your best bet against Diamond, highest odds of winning

Finally finished the tournament, had to use Ultimate for last 2 rounds, now have 32 dragons to heal.

Good for you.
After using Ultimate for the 29 Crusader , did you face problems with the last one too ?
