Rainbow isn't a gemstone dragon. It's water/air...you can breed it but you need the Rainbow edition of DS available in the google play market. You should probably have a goal to install it and you get 30 gold free for doing so.

Also, I think the latest update to the original DS in the Google Play Market (version 1.0.7.5 which is a bugfix release) can now also breed this dragon. At least it appears in the market.

I already have rainbow but in the market it has the rainbow sign beside the gemstone dragons i.e. Ruby, Emerald so im woundering if I can breed them?

Are you sure it has the exact same icon as Rainbow.. or the new gemstone icon?
