Maybe there's "x" number of foes that need to be defeated, plants/animals that need to be tended, etc. where x = 100 or something like that?

Watering all the different types of coin trees/flowers/plants doesn't do anything, BTW.

I personally don't think it should be easy ... It is called a trial, a trial should be challenging and take a while to figure out what is going on and then take some time to actually achieve the goal

The building is locked, so the goals come first.

I wonder if the mining one requires getting a rare drop, like a nugget or mithril

This is what I'm doing...
Last lantern will be ready in 2 1/2 hours then will do the expansion.
Working through the potion, workshop (except for decor pieces), and tinker items from the top down...just hit/started builders paste. Should get through every item by tomorrow.

Just fed the Baron and all I got was a sack of glimmer dust (and I wasted a gem to finish it)

I'm thinking make all the feasts. Running short on eggs for noodles and ice cream. Looks like silver is going to be hard to keep in stock too
