Thread: Level 35 - is it possible without buying more fruit?

Question Level 35 - is it possible without buying more fruit?

I cleared all the fruits of the two colours needed to win, but the total never goes past 82%. Do I have to buy gems to pass the level? If so, I intend on deleting this game

Level 35 is a Juice Meter level. You can increase the Juice Meter faster by blasting larger groups of fruit. Good luck!

Try tapping out the other colors until you get a mass of the color you need. Your percentage is greater the more you tap at one time. Took me awhile to figure that one out on a lower level.

The level IS bugged. Every time I try to pass the level I clear all the colors there are to be cleared. Sometimes there are only a couple of cubes left that don't match. And I usually get 85-95%. The Juice meter doesn't make a difference in this issue. Team lava, isn't it obvious that there should there be a simple rule in the color mode: that all the cubes of the required color should give you no less that 100%? Otherwise you clear all of them and you still lose.

In other words, you cannot get 100% if all the blues and all the reds( for example) can only give you 90%. No matter how often you use the juice meter the result still will be no more than 90%.
I played this level for about 20 times, and not once the required colors could give you 100%

It isn't a bug. I also struggled a lot on this level. Many times i ended up filling 95% and sometimes 99%! But i tried many times and could pass. I am not sure which one was the solution: tapping huge cluster with many other tiny taps or tapping okay size cluster all the time. I just tried various combinations.

You passed because finally you got lucky and got a game where there were enough cubes of required colors which is very rare. If there are not enough of those it's impossible to win the game; tapping huge clusters doesn't help (it only helps to fill faster the juice meter). If you need about 110 cubes of two colors to win the game and in the game there are only 100 of them, no matter what you do and how many huge clusters you tap you will still end up with maximum 100 cubes cleared which is about 90%.

I just went back, tried and found it isn' true. Tapping bigger cluster fills the meter faster and also more than proportionally. If you tap size three, meter goes up about slightly more than one percent. But if you tap fifteen, the pertentage goes up more than ten percent. Of course you may need some degree of luck to get nice color formation, but it isnt entirely by luck. Hope this help.

It may be true only if you tap groups of 2-3 cubes (that meter goes up a bit slower). For bigger groups there is no difference. For example, whether you tap a 10-cube cluster or you tap twice 5-groups clusters, the result is the same.
Not to sound unsubstantiated, here is a concrete example.

I just played another game, here is the result:
First number - a number of cubes in a cluster of required color, second -% I got for it, third ? the resulting %

    11 - 10 % (10%)
    11 - 10% (20%)
    5 - 5% (25%)
    6 - 5% (30%)
    5 - 5% (35%)
    5 - 5% (40%)
    4 - 3% (43%)
    7 - 6% (49%)
    4 - 4% (53%)
    2 - 1% (54%)
    5 - 3% (57%)
    5 - 4% (61%)
    3 - 2% (63%)
    6 - 4% (67%)
    10 - 8% (75%)
    5 - 4% (79%)
    3 - 2% (81%)
    5 - 4% (85%)

After that, there was only 1 cube left and the game was lost.
Not, let?s look at the result. The two biggest clusters were at the very beginning (2*11), they gave me 20%, thus the ratio is 20/22=0.9
If I would have cleared out all the cubes (103) available in the game using 11-cube clusters, I would have received 103*0.9=93% which was not enough to win the game.
    Thus, the game was unwinnable.

If I HAD cleared out all the cubes (103) available, I meant. Why can't one edit one's post to correct mistakes, I wonder?
