I usually don't tip, but i will occasionally if you post on my wall. I gift new parts and reply to requests for parts.

Individual gifting may take time and tend to be teeth grinding when neighbors could not return the favor.
So, the best option is to mass gift:-
a. Oven element for part only neighbors
b. Cappuccino for food only neighbors
c. Part for goal or new oven for the first 2 weeks
There are neighbors that gift:-
a. The item they need
b. The first item on the list of gift
c. Whatever they received from you
d. Whatever you requested via material request
e. Random item that for the life of you, didn't know what it's for until you google it
In conclusion, never gift anything that you don't need because the favor will return.

Just had someone give me attitude because I gifted them an oven element and they apparently wanted a nozzle. Really??? We only use oven elements for like every new oven now! This person is close to level 99 and has the current goal ovens, so I know she makes use of the oven element.

I loved the block button but sadly it got removed!
I'm level 99 and have a lots of daily loyal (or mad people like me lol)
I've never begged to be neighbours, if a non neighbour tips then I silent tip Vivek!
I have daily tippers that are not neighbours, but happy to tip each other!
