Crops disappearing

I planted crops, five minutes later they're gone! I reinstalled the app with no luck. Playing valentines version on iOS
Any ideas what's going on?

It could be a sync issue. Visit neighbours or post and delete a message on your wall before exiting the game. It should help sync it.

No I did not try again. Since I lost the coins on planting the disappeared crops I need to save up first before planting new crops. There's too many dragons to feed, habitats to build and land to clear for the amount of coins I'm making at the moment.
