Question about volume of customers

I have been wondering if the volume of customers that visit your store increases later in the game? I know initially it took about 18 tables/chairs to keep a 100% rating but I am wondering if that amount increases at higher levels or upon expansion? Is there a point of continuing to add tables besides adding more areas to receive tips? I currently have like 40 tables and I'm wondering if that's necessary or not (I want to decorate more).

I am on level 96 and I have 29 ppl at a time in my store.

I have 25 tables and they are not all used.

How did you figure out 29? Is there some way to determine the max amount you could have? so it does increase with level? I am level 36.

Just watch you game and count as ppl come . You will see a total in your store, before they start leaving.

Mine fluctuates between 26-28. It used to be 29. I wish they'd increase the consumption rate as you level up. Otherwise the massive amount of food just sits there forever.
