Yes, they do. The dragons that are not "breedable" are not selectable at all. I have been breeding Chocolate for the Naga.

The only two dragons which don't work for breeding, I believe are the Infinity and Passion.

I see in the game that we can post on walls just like RS, etc. however in DS I cannot figure out where to go to view my own wall in order to go through the messages. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

go to your menu (the scroll in the bottom left corner) and then overview and it's there.

On mine you have to push down pretty hard on the habitat and drag it over

Here is what you need to do:Open game?Menu?Messages and your Wall should appear more or less straight away (it might take a while to load.)
