I guess so. I'm assuming that it's easier uploading once to Pinterest to have an album-like affect, than to upload to many different sites at different times and easier to have just one URL to link from
That's my theory anyway. One upload, one link makes things easier.

Edit: sometimes they post to Facebook first. I guess it depends on who's doing the uploading?
