Problems with requesting quest items

For three days now the game has told me that I can't request items, as I have already requested them each time I try. I can't have requested as I always get this message. Anyone else getting this issue? Can anyone out there help? It is extremely frustrating!

Further to my earlier post I actually get two different messages. The first, when I select a number of friends, let's say 27 for sake of argument, is "Your request has been sent, but 27 of your friends haven't recieved the request as you have sent a request to them already today" (or something similar). This happened after I waited nearly 48 hours since the last attempt, just in case. Then, if I try later on, the message just says "We were unable to send this request as you have already requested help from your friends today". Thanks a bunch. I have given up hope of completing any quests in Farm Story as the game seems to invent phantom requests to stop me making any myself. I am also on RS and BS, and they seem to work fine.

Perhaps someone from TL could respond and tell me what is going on??? Please???

Are you also sending out requests for any constructibles to your nbrs on the same day you are requesting your quest items?

Same thing has happened to me. So intensly frustrating. I have finally completed one more quest but once again the reward is nowhere to be found. I spent ten gems on this one too!

what reward was it? I got the santa pig this morning, but he was all the way at the end of my inventory.

I hadn't intended to suggest that you were an employee Kooky P, but I was under the impression that there were TL staff on these forums who might try and help people out when they were frustrated with "bug fixes" and new features causing more problems. In answer to your question, the only requests that I have been trying to make over the last 4 days have been for quest items, and they all seem to have failed. Like goldiehawn I try to answer every request that I get, but have no chance of getting any myself.

Having looked through other questions I see that one suggestion is to try a delete and re-install, but I am concerned that will lose all my data, and I don't want to have to start over. I've been playing for quite a while and if I had to start again I would probably just stop playing altogether. I am on Iphone 3gs with IOS 5.01.

You will not lose your game if you delete and redownload. You game is saved on Team Lavas servers.
Also question- when you send out your requests do you send them really early in the morning?

OK, thanks for that info, I'll give that a try. I was concerned because when I thought about trying it the first time I got a message saying that all game data would be deleted. I get nervous when I see things like that! Regarding "early in the morning", it has been about 7am to 7:30am ... GMT, as I live in the UK. I'm not sure whether that would class as early morning or late night
