They changed things around. Before, each appliance needed 6 different parts, 6-8 per part, one gem each. Now, each appliance only needs 4 different part, 5 per part, 2 gems each. In reducing the number of parts, they got rid of a few of the original parts (example metal sheets). [CUT]

That's right. Motor was requested at the beginning, but with one of the last updates TL changed things so that it's no more needed.

Simply it was an old part that is no more requested for building easy appliances.
Maybe in the future for new easy appliances...

You can request every day. A new day starts at midnight Pacific time.

Also:

Only 20 neighbors per day can answer requests. If you are sending requests to more people then that, it will clog up your requesting system, and take multiple days for you to recieve your items. Try skipping sending requests for a few days, then only send requests to 20-25 people per day.

Do u already have the box of parts? Or r u trying 2 buy the appliance? If ur having problems buying it then follow Tinks suggestion.
If u already own the appliance and r unable 2 request the parts from ur nbrs then try sending a PM to Kooky Panda and also send a email 2 support@teamlava.com. When sending the email make sure u include what device ur playing on, version ur playing, and b sure 2 include that ur playing RS since they're a catch all 4 TL games.

If you need parts to build an appliance or constructible item, you first buy the appliance, place it, then click on the box. You will get a pop up
showing what parts you need. Hit the ask neighbor button, this will pull up your neighbor list and you check off who you would like to send a request to.
