i've been wondering for a while now but can't figure it out. when people share recipe pics, why do they show the recipe on the table?

i get sharing the counter pics, we can't see that anywhere in our game unless we serve the food ourselves. but sharing pics of the food on the table confuses me.

isn't it always the same exact pic as what we see in the menu when we cook it? is there a difference i don't understand from the menu and table pics?
