Levels for new 'slots'

OK I am confused. If someone spent 25 gems (roughly $5) to purchase the EXTRA slot, you are saying that the Extra slot isn't really an extra slot because the slot opens up eventually, on its own.
???

Does that make any sense whatsoever?

for the record, I have 23 slots at level 49. One was purchased, even though it was one of the unintentional purchases because its very easy to tap that last box.

May I ask when did you buy the slot, I suppose if you bought it after lv 41(seems like the last slot) you get the extra one

Lvl 59 - 22 slots no purchases

I am level 47 almost 48 currently. When I got to level 28 the game glitched and gave me five, YES FIVE slots. I was able to use them for about 2 days and thought to myself KEEM EM COMING....but then they went away. I figured TL realized it or the programming itself caught on to it which is possible [I'm a techie for a career] so I knew that was likely. I am at 22 slots, one was accidentally purchased. So I'm confused as to how others have 22 with no purchases and are higher than me?!

I got one at level 16, so now we have:

Level 1 (start with 4 slots)
Level 3 - 5 slots
Level 5 - 6 slots
Level 7 - 7 slots
...
Level 14 - 10 slots
Level 16 - 11 slots
...
Level 21 - 13 slots
Level 23 - 14 slots
Level 24 - 15 slots
Level 28 - 16 slots
Level 30 - 17 slots
Level 32 - 18 slots
Level 34 - 19 slots
Level 37 - 20 slots

By the way, I accidentaly bought one slot, but still I've got 12 slots at level 20. That is what I would have gotten anyway! So bought the extra slot for nothing! Anyone experienced this?

Im lv60, and still 22 slots. Haven't get any new slot for a long time ( Forgot when was the last lv, i got the 22nd slot), give me the feeling 22 slots is de max

Oh dear, how come you have so many slots???I don't have anymore slot since I reached 35+ which is 22 slots and now I'm in level 55 !!! I thought it's the max!!! It means I've been loosing my slots to make more clothes!!!! TeamLava please look into the problem and increase my rightful slots, if possible, give me back my compensation
