Help with Cruise chest

Can I get some help I am a little confuse I used 24 gems to purchase the cruise chest but did not receive anything in return is asking for additional gems. How many additional gems do I need in order to see what's on the cruise chest? Do anyone know? Right now I am out 24 gems and nothing to show for. Can someone enlighten me on this? I checked your account and you received the Blue Buoy Lamp from the Cruise Chest. You'll be able to find this item by checking your Design Menu, under the Decorations Tab.
