The Rule of withering?

Hello everyone. Today my crops withered again.. Like they often do:( i'm just confused.. What is the Rule of withering time? There Must be one.. Because 30 min crops are gone very quickly.. 12h not.. Thats clear.. I thought its the same time they Need to grow, am i right? Pls help me:D i'm a desperate Farmer:(

In general, they wilther after about the same amount of time it took for them to be ready to harvest. So your 12 hr crops wilthers after about 12 hrs.

For the shorter crops, that guideline does not apply. I'm not quite sure what it is.

I think shorter ones have about 1 hour:).

I heard the 1- and 5- minute crops take about 30 minutes to wither. I've never tested it so I don't know :)

But in either case, you get a grace period for short-term crops, but it's not a very long grace period.

Of course, it's worth noting that: trees, flowers, animals never wither or die.
