Is there a circle with an "x" or just an "x" on the right side of your hot tip box? I'm not seeing it but from what I remember there was a "x" that you could click to remove that.

Ok thanks, the banner is gone, and no "X" anywhere to delet it. It has been gone now for two days. :)
