Each tip costs you 1 coin. Gifting costs you nothing.

That's correct.

Every time I leave a tip a red star with a + next to it and a coin with a - next to it rises from the table.

I'm pretty sure - means something is taken away.

No, tipping does not cost you anything. The coin with a - next to it has to do with the number of tips you are able to give. So when you see the coin with the -, it is being deducted from your number of tips (so either 3 for community members or 6 for neighbours). It doesn't deduct it from your "money".

I received a lot of dog bowls and was wondering why since I obviously did not have a dog on my farm and it would not yield any collection. I thanked my gifted and he informed me they sell for 400 coins! Anyone know what the highest yield gift is to give if you sell it?

I meant I thanked my gifter (giftor?). I just noticed that it was the auto corrector that messed me up. I am not used to typing on this iPad yet, lol.

Gifting cappuccino is the best. 50 cups X 10 coins/cup = 500 coins. All other options give you less money.

I can honestly say that this is the first time Ive read a thread where people actually try and help the person asking the question instead of just acting plain snotty!! Everyone seems to be happy and giddy when they are receiving tips and gifts but lord forbid you ask an actual question b.c all hell breaks lose and spawns all the evil, rude and just plain angry people that play this game.

This thread has been very informative and refreshing, after all it's just a game.

Cheers to all!!! BOTTOMS UP!
