Online usage vs battery life

I'm not sure if there is any relationship to this but it seems to me that since I started using V.L. my battery life on my iphone seems to be quickly sucked out of it. I noticed prior to V.L I could go for days without having to charge the phone. For example, this morning I charged my phone to 100% within an hour it was down to 93% and I hadn't even used my phone. Does the fact that V.L in always online have anything to do with my iphone battery usage?
I understand the need to be online but, if it sucks :eek: up battery life, then I'm not so sure I like being constantly online. If there was a way to log on/off maybe that might be the answer and forfeit accumulating blood etc. :confused:

There is no a log off option for the Storm8 games.

I couldn't tell you if it does or doesn't - I'm always having to charge my phone because I'm constantly doing things on it (even pre Storm8 games) and have always needed to charge my phone at least once a day.

The only time I experience my battery life decreasing is when I PLAY the storm8 apps. When my phones in standby it seems fine.

I dunno if you can do this on the phone, but I have an Itouch, when I am not at home I turn the wifi off which saves on battery life.
