Best equipment not used during attacks or defense

How come my best equipment is not used during attacks or defense? I seem to be getting hit by players with far lower spec! Doesn't seem right and I'm getting a bit fed up...

I have learnt from other posts that numbers of pieces of equipment used in attack or defense situations depend on how many mobsters in your mob have those pieces of equipment.

This makes it impossible to judge whether you stand a chance against another mobster by simply looking at his/her profile. It also means that it is completely unecessary to buy lots of the same item.

When building a mob it makes sense to have members who have as broad a range of items (not necessarily high numbers). My problem is also that I have a number of mobsters in my mob at a very high level who have streamlined and only posess equipment unavailable at my level. This makes them useless in my mob. But what di they get out of streamlining? It cannot help Make them attractive mob material...

Thus is still not making sense. I have gone through my mob and looked at weapons, vehicles and armour and I have found that a significant number of mobsters in my mob have high level equipment which just doesn't show when attacking or defending. How come some mobsters have 20 or so items listed when attacking/defending? How do they achieve that? I only seem to draw on 5...

Your mob members use YOUR equipment in YOUR fights.

Not theirs.

It's your job to provide them with the right tools.

If you go to the equipment screen, you can read that you can bring 1 weapon, 1 protection and 1 vehicle per mob member. Also in the FAQ you can read that you may bring 5 times your level in mobsters.

So if you have are in level 20, you can bring max 100 mobsters. Thus, you need no more then 100 weapons, 100 protection units and 100 vehicles. If you buy the best, chances are you will win (unless the one you fight has different skil points for attack or defence).

As the other dude said, the members of your mob use YOUR equipment when you attack/defend, not theirs.

A mob member could be any level with any amount of equipment and it doesn't change a thing when you fight.

So if you're level 17 and you have 49 mob members, to have the best setup you need 49 of the best weapon, protection, and vehicle. Get 49 RPG-17s, 49 Riot Gears, and 49 Lambos. That simple
