Purple cow, now what?

I just got a purple cow after finishing the fairy quest. Any ideas on what it gives, or should I store it in inventory?

and the occasional (rare) gem :)

Oh and glimmerbulb apparently. I get mostly inks :( the only thing that really needed the ink was the cow itself, lol.

1st collection i recieved.... Ink, lol.. Would be cool if you get gems everytime :)
