Need some advice please!!!

I need some advice from my fellow zombie players. I've been playing Zombies for a few weeks now. I've played Imobsters and Ninjas Live so I understand the farming and camping aspect of the game. My stats are as follows:
Lvl. 16
Income 12,909 (after upkeep of 603)
Attack 32
Defense 1
Max Energy 200
Max Health 100
Max Rage 7

My main 2 questions are
1. What should my income be at the level I'm currently at? In the other Storm8 games they recommend 10 times your level but I don't intend to really camp right now to do that especially since payouts are low attacking other players. Also mission payouts are low too.

2. How much should I invest in traps at the level I'm currently at? I currently have 156 traps but I'm unsure should I be focusing on something else.

I've been reading forums and other threads and still unsure what I should be focusing on now. I have a horde of 9 members in which 3 or 4 are ATMs that pay pretty good. If I didn't have them my income would suck miserably.

I am aware everyone have different strategies of playing I'm just trying to build my zombie up to compete with the vamps at higher levels. I don't farm being that the payouts are not that great I just use my ATMs which will suffice for now. I love to attack others however I don't want my defense to suffer in the long run.

At lvl 16 you should be at 15,000 before upkeep, so you're close. By lvl 21 you need to be at 40,000 before upkeep so you might want to camp for a while. There are trap calculators to help you decide which traps to buy (there is one on this site). Have you thought about joining a clan? I'm coleader of flesh and blood and we can definitely help you. 1. As always, the more income, the better equipped you are when you start leveling fast. At your level, it would be good for you to aim at 10 times the level (regardless of what game, I do this for them all, resulting in good income in all games). Attack only ATMs, flesh bars WITH 50,000 ish payout each time. (picky but it will really help you build income. Remember, the higher the standard, the higher the quality) Don't even bother doing the missions, you'll get nothing out of them.
2. FYI (though if you play other games you already know this), many senior players have minis at these levels too. It's up to you how many traps you want (do you cause trouble and hence have need for more traps?); I would suggest 200-500. After that, focus it all on income (at least until you unlock solars, then get 200 of those first). You don't seem like a farmer... you like attacking, but don't want your defense damaged... I would suggest you put your points into defense then. However, if you plan on leveling fast, and don't care about zombie farmers (have enough solars and you'll be able to defend against the vamps), stock up in attack. Don't even bother going half and half, the vast majority of us are only built one way, and then you'll be losing to the both sides of us. If you love attacking, you'll have to remember this... you can't win and expect not to lose- if you want to have high attack, you'll end up with very low defense. You'll just have to attack and win against others more often than you lose to balance things out. Unless you want to pull out your visa.

dont bother to camp low with your zombie since zombies are more easier to handle with income.. camp past level 30 lol..
