I had almost 30,000 Tomato Bisque at lunch time on Friday, and still have just over 10,000. Only 20,000 have sold in 5 days! And it isn't just this type of food. I have more than 40,000 strawberry shortcake sitting there at the moment, along with 4 other counters of food, each with over 10,000 serves. I just keep making it, and it just keeps on piling up. My restaurant has been open all day every day (I never block the door), and my happiness is 100. Two weeks ago the food was disappearing at such a fast rate that we had no way of being able to keep up, but now we cant get rid of it. My stoves are sitting there right now with nothing on them, because I am sick of selling the same 6 types of food (I dont want any more serving counters), but the food wont sell to empty a counter for me. I can't even put my gifts out, so there are almost 30,000 stew sitting there waiting for counter space.

My customers are also moving slowly, and eating slowly, and the animations for the coins, etc are also moving slowly and pausing. When I move my restaurant around it pauses before the screen actually moves (does that make sense?).

Is anyone else having this problem?

Norman, is the pace going to stay this way, or is it an issue being looked at?

A couple weeks ago we had to speed up the rate of food consumption because that helped to lessen sync issues. Now that we have fixed sync issues, the food consumption rate is set back to normal. We do not have any current plans of altering the speed.

Personally, I think its just right. Its slow enough that I don't need to close my restaurant to restock, but fast enough that my higher serving dishes get eaten by the end of the day. It has been too fast in the past and too slow, but I think the pace is good right now.

Thanks for the reply, Norman. It was definately too fast previously, but I knew the reasoning for that. I am just finding it difficult to get rid of food now. I have 9 stoves (or ovens, I swap them around), so my food ends up piling up. But I am also noticing that there are pauses in everything that moves. My customers pause when with each step that they take and each time their hands get to their mouth. Coins and stars etc going up the screen are also pausing half way. If I exit out of the restaurant and then open the app again everything moves at the right speed, but within a minute or two it slows down again. I have the current update from the apple store, and a second device our home doesn't have the same issues, and food sells a lot faster on that second device.

Any suggestions?

How do you close your restaurant? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I'm new at this game! I thought when I ran out of food I just had to deal with all the angry customers!

You dont actually close the restaurant, but if you stick a table or chair, or anything at all, in front of the door you will block customers from coming in.

Hi. I'm new at this game. I'm on level 12 and I can't keep up with all of my customers. I have been cooking non stop for 5 hours and used all of my gifts and the food is gone! Any suggestions? Thanks.

Is this how we save our progress when we close the game? If I stop playing right now my food just spoils and my customers are angry. How can I save my work while I'm not playing the game? I'm new to the game as well. Thanks!

Food that has been served and is therefor placed on a counter will not spoil. Food spoils if you forget it on the cooking appliances once it's ready.

You should close the door or rather place something in front of it if your food counters are empty. That way customers cannot come in, and they dont become unhappy.

Hope that helped.
