Est cost for 12,000 building def

I got a funny situation. A random ally bced he was being farmed so I take a look into it. I find the farmer lvl 50 in and I'm pretty sure I could take him (lvl48). I proceed to hit him about 3 times he's in retreat....and then he attacks me....and looses.
A few words are exchanged and epeens are flexed...and 4 hours go by...and I was planning on doing some follow up attacks......only thing was I noticed his defense has been pumped up majorly....by atleast 12,000 points.
I'm just curious how much in game money would have cost? It's obvious he's a point buyer.

Unless the guy was vaulting months worth of money and/or saved every single honor point Storm8 gave out, he most likely bought honor points to catch up. As for how much 12,000 defensive points costs depends on his net income. You get roughly 4 hours of net income per 10 honor points. Any way you cut it, the guys spent a good amount.

Building defense for me at level 26 would cost 2 billion to add 12,000 points without considering the inflationary increase beyond the cost of my next building.

Unit cost at level 50 would be 200 A/C at 1.3 million each, right? 260 million total right?

How much a certain amount of building defense costs depends on how many builings already exist. For example, starting with 0 defensive buildings:

Defense: 12,005
Cost: 4,623,862,000

Buildings:
Bunkers: 708
Guard Towers: 350
Anti-Aircrafts: 183
Turrets: 73
Minefields: 26


Stats for the next 12,000 defense:

Total Defense: 24,046
Defense Added: 12,039
Cost of Addition: 12,634,293,000

New Total Buildings:
Bunkers: 1,370
Guard Towers: 680
Anti-Aircrafts: 360
Turrets: 138
Minefields: 60

I normally don't keep 12 billion in my vault just to boost def.....none the less now this guy is leveling like mad and wants to farm me. I seriously never thought a iPhone app would be so drama filled. Poor guy prolly bought honor points just so I couldn't farm him....too funny.

He didn't necessarily buy honour points... Some high level players can make several billion dollars per day. If he stashed it, didn't check his account for several days, or had honour points from promotions kicking around... It would not surprise me at all that he came up with that much cash at once.

Anyway, I'm just outlining possibilities here. If he has lots of income buildings, then those situations are very possible, and I would say that it is impossible to accurately determine whether or not he bought honour points.

However, if he has a very low number of buildings, then I would say that either it is unlikely that he spent enough money on honour points to boost his defense by that much, or he would have had to spend a ridiculous amount money.

Maybe not. Maybe the guy had a few hundred points stashed away from all the bonuses. I know I had at least 200 points accumulated from various bonuses at one point in the other games. But yeah, people get really worked up over the most trivial things.

Yea I forgot about the free points....but judging from his income that's nowhere near the def boost hes gotten....and as of this moment his defincreased by 100 landmines and 200 turrents.... WTF lol
