Don't increase your health over 150-180 max. If your health is lower you get blasted into the ER quicker and lose less money when your mom is making you take out the trash and you can't spend the money or bank it before a bastage like me comes along and takes it from you. Health is the one thing that is constantly renewable with cash through out the game.

Another tip is that when you stop play for the day don't heal! Because if you don't heal you are in the emergency room while you are not playing.
If you heal they can attack you a couple of times before you get in the emergency room.

If you have 100/100 like me it dosen't make any big difference but if you have like 200/200 they can attack you alot more and can take more money.

If you want to know more you can add me on iMobsters. My name is add me VPMQN.

Code: VPMQN
Level: around 70

Increasing Health at all is a waste of points IMO, It's only going to hurt you in the long run

Best tip: Dont increase none, spend points on defense

Is there a way to readjust your points? E.g. lower health in favor of defence?

You can buy your defense buy getting yourself the best equipment around; can't you? Does the defense points make a big dent? Wouldn't getting stamina work better as you can level up quickly once you have setup a lot of real estate?

I don't understand why I lose sometimes when my mob of 4 fights a mob of one and I have way superior weapons. This has been baffling me. Can anyone help answer this question?

IIRC attack factors little when you are being attacked. It's all in your defense (and that of your allies). Make sure you spend points in defense and get enough armor and vehicles with good defense for you and each ally.

I agree too. When you put more skill points towards your hit points, you are just allowing people to hit you more, and they will. Better to let them put you in the hospital immediately and decide whether or not to hitlist you than let them keep attacking and losing money. If people are hellbent on attacking or killing you, hit points will do nothing to deter them. Better to limit the number of attacks anyone can make on you and limit your money loss.
